Marcel is a qualified boat builder and holds a degree in aeronautical engineering. For many years he

competed as member of the German national sailing team and took part in international events in the Olympic Tornado Class. He also has extensive sailing experience and circumnavigated his own yacht around the world.

In various senior management positions Marcel was responsible for a wide scope of business processes including research, development, production, quality management, sales, marketing and project management. 

His professional background includes executive management roles in the UK, continental Europe and New Zealand. Over the last 10 years he has developed specialised knowledge in the application of high performance composites.

Marcel’s multi-sector expertise spans the aeronautical, automotive, marine, renewable energy and luxury goods sectors.
